About The Position

The responsibilities for the Waste Disposal Technician with Regulated Waste Management Bio/Pharmaceutical include, but are not limited to, the following: Packages expired chemicals for shipment or disposal. Empties satellite containers into bulk containers and takes back to laboratory for reuse. Maintains chemical storage area to keep it clutter-free and free of fire hazards. Ships hazardous waste from the laboratory prior to the RCRA time limit for the facility. Tracks volume of waste generated for reporting to corporate and EPA. Prepares and tracks implementation of Waste Minimization Plan. Orders and maintains chemical inventory for the laboratory. Manages consignment room to keep all laboratory areas supplied. Provides assistance to other departments/areas as needed. Employee would start as a Technician, and be expected to complete RCRA and DOT/IATA training and certification, paid for by Eurofins, within the first 90 days. Upon completion of training and certification, contingent on good performance, the employee will receive a commensurate pay increase.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Authorization to work in the United States for any employer, indefinitely, without restriction or sponsorship.
  • Ability to work in Lancaster, PA Monday - Friday 8a-4p.
  • Ability to complete RCRA and DOT/IATA training and certification, paid for by Eurofins, within the first 90 days.
