The company is actively seeking a highly motivated Entry Level Structural Engineer for its Baton Rouge, Louisiana office, with an anticipated start date of July 2026. This position is designed for individuals to develop their analytic and design skills. The role involves conducting engineering design, creating various technical drawings (designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings, and final working drawings), and collecting and analyzing data, all under the direct supervision of an experienced engineer. The successful candidate will utilize computer software to solve basic engineering problems and will be responsible for performing work in accordance with agreed-upon budgets and schedules, also under supervision.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
E.I.T. (Engineer-in-Training) certification, achieved through passing the FE exam

Nice To Haves

Master's in Civil Engineering
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
MicroStation and AutoCAD experience
Transportation structures (Bridges, Walls, etc) internship experience

Responsibilities

Builds analytic and design skills.
Conducts engineering design under the supervision of an experienced engineer.
