Entry Level Structural (Bridge) Engineer

About The Position

Dewberry is seeking an Entry Level Structural (Bridge) Engineer to join either our Fairfax, VA or Baltimore, MD offices. The candidate will design bridges and a variety of civil structures (primarily of steel and concrete construction) using applicable software. The candidate will be responsible for designing steel and concrete bridge elements, performing bridge load ratings, developing reinforcing bar lists and quantities, reviewing shop drawings and assisting with bridge safety inspections. Requirements

Masters degree in Civil Engineering with a concentration in Structural Engineering is preferred
Good oral and written communication skills
Proficiency using AutoCAD and/or Microstation and a desire to work in a team environment
Successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering exam preferred, but not required
