About The Position

We are seeking dependable and motivated individuals interested in starting a career as a Sprinkler & Irrigation Technician in the Quad Cities area. This is a long-term, contract-to-hire opportunity with hands-on training provided—ideal for someone looking to learn a skilled trade and grow with a reputable company.

Requirements

• Mechanical aptitude or willingness to learn a skilled trade
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Ability to follow instructions and work both independently and as part of a team
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
• Must pass Drug Screen, Background Check, and Motor Vehicle Record check

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in landscaping, construction, plumbing, or general labor is a plus (not required)

Responsibilities

• Assist with service, maintenance, and basic repairs on irrigation and sprinkler systems
• Support winterizations and seasonal system start-ups
• Help troubleshoot system issues alongside experienced technicians
• Assist with residential irrigation system installations
• Work on a variety of job sites including homes, schools, and healthcare facilities
• Learn to read and interpret irrigation plans and layouts
• Maintain professional communication with customers on-site
