About The Position
CyraCom International is seeking a dedicated and skilled Spanish Bilingual Interpreter to join our team in Tampa, FL. This position is essential in bridging communication gaps between individuals who require assistance in understanding and conveying information in Spanish and English. As an interpreter, you will perform skilled consecutive interpretation, ensuring that the meaning is accurately conveyed between parties. The role requires adherence to CyraCom's established protocols and policies, which are designed to maintain confidentiality and uphold the highest standards of interpreter ethics. You will be working under direct supervision, with limited opportunities for independent decision-making, and will refer most non-routine problems to your supervisor. In this role, you will be responsible for providing meaning-for-meaning interpreting, following all CyraCom policies related to information confidentiality, and attending all required training sessions. Continuous improvement of your vocabulary and knowledge in specialized subject areas such as medical, legal, and social services is crucial. You will also be expected to demonstrate reliable attendance, follow directions, and communicate effectively in both English and Spanish. The position is not remote and requires you to work from our contact center located at 5701 E. Hillsborough Ave., Tampa, FL 33610.
