About The Position

We are looking for engineers to join our DOD R&D technology development team. We are in search of a computer science or computer engineering graduate with ability to code, optimize and build software speed and efficiency in an R&D setting in C++ or Java. We need you to join us on the ground floor of some of the latest programs. Responsibilities: To develop graphical user interfaces for local tools with the team of users. To develop software updates using C++, Rational Team Concert, GitLab and other DevOps tools To support test events through travel opportunities which vary, depending on the role assigned at hire. Primary work location will be in Fredericksburg, VA or Dahlgren, VA on site, with occasional telecommute or travel opportunities. We are fun, collaborative, supportive and our goal is to to find great people who want to stay hands on in development yet have input in process improvements. We work hand in hand with the government customers on integrated teams. No clearance required to apply, but requires a SECRET clearance to start. US Citizenship is required. Requirements

  • US Citizen AND Bachelor’s Degree (in one of these: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Math, Electrical Engineering, or Physics) from an accredited university.
  • Knowledge in definition and management of software requirements, design, code, benchmark testing, debugging, software development life-cycle, architecture, and documentation.
  • Plans, performs, and leads software design, coding, and testing.
  • Experience in an Agile software development environment and familiarity with Agile methodologies
  • Must have an Active Secret US Government Clearance.
  • US Citizenship is required to maintain a Secret
  • Ability to Commute: to Fredericksburg, or Dahlgren, VA (1 hour south of Washington D.C.)
