About The Position
QuinStreet is seeking recent graduates in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields for a paid, full-time contract role on our Financial Services team. This is an excellent opportunity for early-career professionals to gain hands-on experience building a first-generation, scalable enterprise application. You'll work closely with experienced engineers and other junior developers in an agile environment to deliver a new platform from the ground up.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (completed within the past 12 months)
- Solid understanding of software development fundamentals
- Familiarity with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React or Vue.js (Vue is preferred)
- Experience or interest in backend languages and environments such as Java, .NET, PHP, or Python (NET/C# is preferred)
- Exposure to CI/CD tools and testing frameworks is a plus
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Eagerness to grow and contribute in a fast-paced development team
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a cross-functional team to design, develop, and maintain core features of a new software platform
- Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code across front-end and back-end systems
- Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and daily stand-ups
- Contribute to testing, debugging, and quality assurance efforts
- Integrate with third-party APIs and troubleshoot any integration challenges
