About The Position
Creel Industries is seeking enthusiastic applicants for the position of Entry Level Social Worker - Resource Counselor/Facilitator. This role is designed for individuals who are motivated and wish to make a significant difference in the lives of developmentally disabled adults within San Diego County. As a leader in social services, Creel Industries provides a stepping-stone for aspiring social workers, offering valuable case management experience and training upon hire. Applicants must be at least 18 years old and possess a high school diploma or GED, although no prior experience is necessary. The agency values enthusiasm, motivation, and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment. In this position, staff will serve as direct service providers, assisting clients in developing functional skills through one-on-one training in community settings or at home. The agency maintains high standards for service delivery, ensuring that the right candidates find the work both rewarding and fulfilling. Successful candidates will be responsible for managing their own caseloads, creating and working on assigned objectives for clients, and monitoring and evaluating client progress. Strong communication and writing skills are essential, as staff will be required to complete paperwork and meet deadlines.
