About The Position

Entry-Level Shipping, Receiving, and Warehouse Specialist Company: Argon ST The Boeing Materials & transportation team is seeking Entry-Level Shipping, Receiving, and Warehouse Specialist to join the team in Smithfield, PA or Lemont Furnace, PA. This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) business organization. Primary Responsibilities: Receive and process incoming packages using MS Access and Deltek Costpoint Put accepted stock away into the warehouse using Costpoint and RFgen software Manage inventory using company to include cycle counts, location transfers, kitting and issuing parts for production builds Contribute to maintaining a safe work environment (5S, tool control, PPE) Candidate will be expected to operate a forklift and drive company owned vehicles to transport material between production site. Must also be willing and able to operate a 26 ft box truck (no CDL required) Package and ship finished and/or vendor return parts and materials. Packaging may involve use of common hand and power tools and following a specific work instruction to perform the work This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Experience working with various material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks and cranes.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing, warehouse, shipping or customer service environment.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Outlook
  • Must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in receiving, storing, picking, and shipping processes.
  • Experience operating forklifts (under 15,000-lb. lift capacity) or related equipment.
  • Experience working with inventory control software.
  • Experience in kitting and cycle-counting.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office Applications.
  • Experience with Excel
