Requirements

  • Basic knowledge of electrical systems, plumbing, or mechanical repair preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record (company vehicle provided).
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–5:00 PM, with occasional flexibility.
  • Willingness to learn and obtain industry certifications.
  • Ability to install, repair, service, and test, and troubleshoot equipment
  • Ability to read blueprints and diagrams
  • Flexibility to adhere to a Monday through Friday schedule, from 7:30AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional adaptability required beyond these hours
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and diagnostic skills
  • Working knowledge of equipment needed for the job
  • Ability to work independently with little or no supervision
  • Ability to meet physical demands of the job, to include bending, lifting, and working in confined spaces
  • Drivers license and acceptable driving record for issuance of a take home company vehicle
  • Ability to effectively manage time
  • Ability to work outside in all weather conditions
  • (some requirements may only be met after on the job training is received)

Responsibilities

  • Install, repair, and maintain petroleum equipment including fuel pumps, dispensers, and related systems.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues on gasoline equipment.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and provide customer support.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
  • Complete detailed service reports and maintain accurate records.
  • Educate customers on proper equipment use and maintenance.
  • Work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and meet physical demands (lifting, bending, confined spaces).
