We are seeking a motivated and safety-conscious Entry-Level Ammonia Refrigeration Service Technician to join our growing team. Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Technical school training in HVAC-R, industrial maintenance, or a related field is a plus.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in physically demanding environments (climbing ladders, lifting, confined spaces).
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Willingness to obtain RETA certification and other relevant credentials such as EPA certification.
Nice To Haves
- Technical school training in HVAC-R, industrial maintenance, or a related field is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the maintenance, repair, and installation of ammonia refrigeration systems.
- Support senior technicians in troubleshooting and diagnostics.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance tasks.
- Learn and follow safety protocols, especially those related to ammonia handling.
- Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
- Travel to customer sites as needed (overnight travel will be required)
