The Colorado Neuroscience of Behavioral Health and Wellness Research Lab in the Department of Psychiatry, Division of Neuroscience, is seeking an entry-level research professional to join their growing team of researchers. Their goal is to develop a better understanding of the neurobiological processes underlying several common aspects of human behavior and how variations or alterations of these processes can lead to negative physical and behavioral health effects. Their research uses functional and structural brain imaging. Much of this imaging involves the use of functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI). Techniques such as MR spectroscopy are also used to determine levels of different neurotransmitters, and structural imaging, which allow examination of the brain gray and white matter organization.
