About The Position

As an Entry Level Radiology Call Coordinator in our Neuroradiology Reading Room, you will play a critical role in supporting radiologists by triaging incoming calls, managing communication flow, and ensuring urgent matters are prioritized efficiently. Whether it’s fielding calls from hospital teams, answering quick information requests, or ensuring urgent studies are brought to the radiologist’s attention, your work will directly impact the delivery of timely, accurate patient care.

Requirements

• Associates or Bachelors degree in related healthcare field
• Strong verbal communication and listening skills
• Comfort in high-volume, fast-paced environments
• Ability to multitask while maintaining accuracy and professionalism
• Basic computer and data entry skills
• A calm, courteous, and patient-centered demeanor

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in a hospital, medical office, or call center environment is a plus—but not required

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for incoming internal and external calls to the Neuroradiology department
• Screen, categorize, and prioritize communication based on urgency and clinical relevance
• Minimize unnecessary interruptions for radiologists while ensuring critical issues are escalated immediately
• Document call details clearly and accurately in the appropriate systems
• Answer general questions or direct calls to appropriate departments as needed
• Maintain awareness of radiologist workflows and help manage the pace and flow of communication to support productivity and focus
• Collaborate with technologists, clinicians, and hospital staff to support seamless patient care coordination
