Ironwood Plastics is looking for Entry Level Product Inspectors to join our team in Ironwood, Michigan. This position offers a steady and consistent schedule with no holiday work required.   • Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
  • Perform visual inspection of parts.
  • Operate presses in semi-operation mode.
  • Ensure machines are cycling properly at the lowest possible cycle time.
  • Ensure materials needed at the press are stocked, especially at shift change.
  • Clean up work areas.
  • Notify support personnel of problems/questions.
  • Communicate all problems to on-coming personnel.
  • Maintain job documentation.
  • Perform dimensional checking of parts.
  • Ensure proper inventory of parts.
  • Respond quickly to machine alarms/repair.
  • Assist other shift personnel as needed.
  • High School Diploma or its equivalent.
  • Clear penmanship.
  • Good vision to spot defects.
  • Good hand to eye coordination/dexterity.
  • Ability to learn new skills during the training process.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft products (MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Ability to effectively use the company ERP system (IQMS).
