As a Public Safety Police Officer at Parkland College, you will play a crucial role in creating a safe and secure environment for students, faculty, staff and visitors. Officers are responsible for enforcing campus policies and regulations, laws of the State of Illinois, patrolling campus, responding to emergencies, conducting investigations, completing written reports, and collaborating with other campus departments to promote safety and community engagement. These responsibilities are performed in an ethical manner consistent with the college mission, vision, and values. This position is an On-Campus, Full-Time, 12-Month, appointment covered by the Public Safety Officer's Association with an annual salary of $52,436.80.
