About The Position
Halff Associates Inc. is seeking to immediately hire an entry-level Planner with a focus on urban design and graphic skillsets for their Richardson, Texas office. The selected candidate will work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team of planners, landscape architects, and other professionals to provide production support on a wide variety of planning efforts. These efforts will involve working with both public and private entities on projects that include comprehensive plan preparation, park, recreation, and trails planning and design, active transportation planning, downtown and corridor planning, corridor studies, and urban design initiatives. This position offers an exciting opportunity to engage in an interdisciplinary environment, helping client communities proactively plan and design for their future. The role will require the candidate to support various planning projects, conduct research, compile data, and produce documents. Additionally, the candidate will be involved in mapping and geographic data analysis, conceptual site planning and design, and graphic design tasks, including creating document templates and graphic renderings. Collaboration with clients and consultants will also be a key aspect of the role, ensuring that all planning efforts align with client needs and expectations.
