Requirements

  • Driving: is an essential function so applicant must have a clear driving record.
  • Uniform must be worn and must be clean without cuts, holes or stains.
  • Uniform shirt must be tucked in at all times
  • Badge must be worn and visible at all times.
  • Clean and professional appearance. (ie shaving facial hair, combing hair, no strong perfume or colognes)

Nice To Haves

  • WRT, ASD and AMRT certification, or equivalent hands-on experience in residential demolition and water mitigation.

Responsibilities

  • Team up with a seasoned Lead Demolition Technicians to tear out water- or mold-damaged drywall, flooring, cabinets, and trim—cleanly, safely, and with precision.
  • Master power tools such as reciprocating saws, circular saws, oscillating tools, and floor scrapers while keeping the jobsite spotless.
  • Roll up your sleeves for hands-on work that rewards attention to detail and a can-do attitude.
  • Work under the direction of a Lead Technician to assist with demolition projects in homes affected by water or mold damage.
  • Perform targeted demolition of damaged building materials, including: Drywall – cut, remove, and dispose of contaminated sheetrock. Flooring – tear out carpet, padding, vinyl, laminate, tile, and hardwood. Cabinets & Countertops – carefully detach and remove kitchen and bathroom cabinetry and surfaces. Trim, Baseboards, and Insulation – remove all finish materials and damaged insulation as needed.
  • Be skilled with power tools such as: Reciprocating saws, Circular saws, Oscillating multi-tools, Drills and drivers, Floor scrapers and grinders
  • Use hand tools such as pry bars, hammers, and utility knives with precision and safety.
  • Set up and maintain containment zones (e.g., plastic barriers, zip walls) to prevent dust and contamination.
  • Keep a clean, organized work area and assist with job site cleanup and debris removal.
  • Load, unload, clean, and maintain demolition and drying equipment after each job.
  • Communicate clearly with your Lead Technician, reporting any issues or updates during demolition.
  • Help with equipment setup and breakdown, and follow all safety protocols on-site.
  • Be part of the on-call rotation, assisting on emergency jobs as needed.
  • Show up ready to work hard, learn, and support your team wherever needed.
