Requirements

• Be a resident in San Antonio
• Have a Certified Professional Coder (CPC or CPC-A certification)
• High school diploma or GED
• Prior 6 months of medical office, medical billing, medical insurance, or customer service experience

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of medical terminology or anatomy

Responsibilities

• Review medical records and code data accurately.
• Prepare reports and correspondence to assist providers in improving documentation.
• Collaborate with providers and healthcare teams to ensure precise and compliant documentation.
• Ensure medical records reflect accurate clinical details, outcomes, and services for proper reimbursement.
