As a result of our continued growth, Mead & Hunt has an exciting opportunity available for an Entry-Level Mechanical Engineer to join our Building Engineering group. This position will be based out of either our Denver, CO or Madison, WI office location.

Requirements

A valid driver's license, the ability to pass background check to gain access to military bases and airport sites, and some travel will be required.
The successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree (or higher) in mechanical engineering, architectural engineering, or relevant degree from an accredited college or be able to obtain the degree within nine months of hire date.
If you have strong communication and organizational skills, are self-motivated, and can work well both independently and as part of a team

Nice To Haves

Coursework in subjects related to HVAC design and/or plumbing related projects
Experience with Revit software
Previous relevant internship experience
Experience working in a design team setting

Responsibilities

Designing building mechanical systems (HVAC) under the guidance of experienced mechanical engineers
Preparing or working with plans and specifications for building bidding and construction
Developing 3D models of building systems using Revit
Assisting with HVAC load calculations, system sizing, mechanical equipment selection
Attending client meetings
Other tasks as assigned.
