This position is responsible for moving all basic materials to operators and for removing all scrap from floor.
Has understanding of shop floor computer interfaces.
Has ability to follow Product Process Plan.
Has understanding of palletizing and scanning processes.
Handles stretch wrapping and storage of finished goods by aisle assignment.
Does general housekeeping and loading/unloading of trucks when necessary.
Follows Quality Standards.
Participates in weekly Safety/Quality meetings.
Responsible for Hazardous Waste Management duties as required.
Education sufficient to read and write.
The company maintains a level of progression based on qualifications beginning with the Utility classification, Rewind, Pre-make ready, Slitter, Assistant Pressman, Coater, and Press Operator.
Under normal circumstances, an employee starts at the entry level position and advances as openings occur, to the next level.
All training requirements, refreshers, or re-enforcement necessary will be satisfied prior to the employee moving into the next position.
