About The Position

LPA is seeking a passionate Entry Level Landscape Architectural Designer to join our integrated team of Architects, Engineers, Interior Designers, Landscape Architects, and Master Planners. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with team members across studios on projects that are both local and across California and Texas. Our clients include public and private entities, and represent nine different market segments, so your career can take many different trajectories. You will join a high-performing, multi-disciplinary design team, and you will impact projects at each stage of design. Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture
  • 0-2 years of experience in all phases of Landscape architecture projects
  • Enthusiastic commitment to the multidisciplinary design process and team environment
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Committed to building a long-term professional career

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with AutoCAD, Rhino and Adobe Creative Suite is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the integrated design process with other disciplines at LPA
  • Assist Design Coordinators and Project Leaders in the execution of specific assignments
  • Prepare presentations and documentation for schematic design, design development, and construction documents
  • Assist in research for product and construction methods related to projects
  • Review and process construction administration documents
  • Attend construction meetings and field visits to further understand detailing and coordination
