About The Position

The Entry Level IT Technician role involves traveling locally within Kentucky and Indiana to various customer sites, utilizing current IT technology and company-issued assets. The technician will be responsible for unboxing, organizing, and inventorying new and returned equipment, staging new equipment in the warehouse, and prepping returned equipment for disposal. Basic IT installation and cable management are also key aspects of the role, along with effective communication with project leads and timely completion of administrative tasks such as timesheets and expense reports.

Requirements

• Minimum of High School diploma or GED required
• Technical School training preferred
• 1-2 years of IT experience related to business equipment
• Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
• Ability to sit or stand for the majority of a normal workday
• Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds
• Ability to reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, and crouch
• Basic knowledge of Word and Excel
• Must possess IT aptitude
• Must have excellent time management skills
• Exhibit professional appearance and demeanor at all times
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Self-motivated individual with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Responsibilities

• Travel locally within KY & IN to various customer sites
• Unbox, organize, and inventory new and returned equipment
• Stage new equipment in the warehouse and prepare for delivery
• Prep returned equipment for disposal, including wiping, inventorying, and palletizing
• Perform basic IT installation and cable management
• Communicate with Project Leads on issues
• Accurately and timely complete weekly timesheet and expense reports
