About The Position
Weaver Insulators is seeking an Entry-Level Insulation Technician to join their team. The ideal candidate is a driven self-starter with previous construction or insulation experience and a strong desire to learn, who will receive training in blown cellulose insulation and fiberglass batts.
Requirements
- Experience with insulation, construction, framing, drywall, or HVAC
- Mechanical experience (comfortable troubleshooting and maintaining equipment)
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
- Ability to climb ladders
- Ability to work in attics and tight spaces
Responsibilities
- Work as part of a 2-4 person crew installing fiberglass batts and blown-in cellulose insulation
- Complete thermal envelope sealing: foam and caulk around windows, doors, and penetrations
- Visit new job sites almost daily, working in both new construction and retrofit settings
- Learn on the job, receive training, and develop in-demand skills in a critical trade
