About The Position
This position will assist in maintaining, repairing, and performing preventive maintenance on the batch plant equipment as well as general building maintenance. This position will require one to work with experienced individuals, in a safe manner, to keep operations continuous.
Requirements
- Highschool diploma or GED required.
- Basic understanding of power tools and hand tools.
- Willingness to learn fabrication and minor industrial electrical components
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance on batch plant and all components.
- Perform basic mechanical repairs on conveyors, scales, bins and other batch plant equipment.
- Follow all safety procedures, lockout/tagout procedures and OSHA regulations.
- Be able to respond to break downs in a timely manner to minimize downtime.
- Maintain a safe, clean working environment.
- Document completed maintenance projects and keeps track of parts and equipment.
