About The Position

Comfort Flow Heating is looking for an entry level HVAC Install/Startup Technician to join our team. Our fast-growing company offers competitive salaries and excellent benefits! Position Summary: The Commercial Controls Install Helper is responsible for assisting in installing, configuring, troubleshooting, repairing and programming for DDC building automation systems.

Requirements

Valid driver license and clean driving record, insurable by company insurance
Desire to advance in career through apprenticeship program or on-the-job training
Ability to work well independently or as a team
Ability to lift, push or pull up to 100 lbs.
Ability to work out of town when necessary
Ability to work outside in a wide range of temperatures
Energetic personality
Pride in workmanship
Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen

Nice To Haves

Minimum High School diploma, GED or equivalent
1 + years previous HVAC Installation experience
EPA Certification
Ability to solve practical problems dealing with a variety of variables in situations where limited standardization exists
Basic written and verbal English language skills

Responsibilities

Responsible for end to end testing, downloading programming, starting up, commissioning and servicing on assigned projects
Coordinates with team leader and customer to understand requirements for all on-site installation and repairs
Keep current on products concerning installation, operation, maintenance, service and repair
Continually enforce safety to the highest standards
Conducts preventive maintenance, installation, commissioning, performs function performance test, diagnoses and repairs complex control systems
Maintain a regularly punctual attendance record, fill out daily timecard accurately
Effectively communicate with co-workers and other sub-contractors
Adhere to all company safety rules and regulations
Regular use of personal protective equipment
Come to work ready to work with proper tools and attire
Willingness to invest time in training seminars and classes
