About The Position

A Human Resource Assistant at Worlds of Fun is responsible for providing administrative support to the Human Resources Department. This position is a seasonal hourly position. Season begins February 10th, 2025.

• Able to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
• Availability to include weekdays, weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with onboarding new employees, including completing necessary paperwork and reviewing information for accuracy and compliance.
• Responding to employee inquiries and concerns, and referring them to the appropriate resources as needed.
• Maintaining employee records, including updating personal information, and tracking sick time.
• Assisting with development and implementation of employee engagement initiatives.
• Performing other administrative tasks as needed to support the human resources department.
• Working on specialized projects in areas such as recruitment, training, and ambassador engagement/relations, as assigned.
• Assisting in wardrobe distribution as directed by manager, including using POS to properly 'check out' uniforms to new hires, exchanging uniforms for current ambassadors, and laundering returned uniforms prior to reshelving.
