About The Position

AECOM is seeking an Entry Level Highway Engineer to be based in Conshohocken, PA. This position is expected to begin in June 2026. In this role, you will work with more experienced engineers to design medium to large scale transportation projects in the Greater Pennsylvania Area.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

Nice To Haves

• EIT Certification
• Relevant internship or co-op experience in highway design and/or transportation
• Working knowledge of OpenRoads (ORD) or Civil3D design software and 3D modeling techniques

Responsibilities

• Develop design criteria, horizontal and vertical alignments, superelevation, barrier/guiderail design, and spot elevation details
• Develop rigid and flexible pavement designs
• Develop signing and pavement marking plans and details
• Develop construction phasing plans
• Identify utility conflicts and coordinate resolutions
• Develop construction quantities and cost estimates
• Develop 3D Models in OpenRoads and/or Civil 3D
• Develop technical calculations and reports per client and/or internal AECOM standards
