In your role, you will provide field support for soil and groundwater investigation, remediation, and monitoring activities as well as field and construction oversight/management. This position includes field assistance for environmental due diligence assessments (e.g., Phase I and II) and environmental compliance. Office support includes preparation of environmental permits and plans, data management and interpretation, technical report preparation, and project management assistance. The position requires working at industrial, commercial, and energy site locations. This full-time position requires approximately 40-45 hours per week and involves a blend of mechanical aptitude, self-motivation, and a strong work ethic. GIS or CADD training is a plus. Applicants must have proficient technical writing skills and a demonstrated commitment to safe operations. This position is also responsible for the administration and stewardship of health and safety programs at active sites and communicating with project management and client(s) concerning site activity. This position will require a willingness to travel for field work (up to 50% of work time may include travel). Applicants must have a clean driving record, Microsoft Office skills, a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and a commitment to safe operations.

  • 0-2+ years of relevant experience.
  • A bachelor's degree in Geology, Geologic Engineering, Hydrogeology, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science or similar.
  • Willingness to obtain PE, PG, CHMM, or similar professional certification.
  • Strong academic GPA and relevant thesis topic (if master's degree obtained).
  • Proficient written and oral communication skills.
  • Solid employment history with a commitment to safe work practices.
  • Initiative and motivation, with an emphasis on completing project deliverables on schedule.
  • Mechanically inclined with desire to learn new skills.
  • Dependable, with the ability to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Fluency with Microsoft Excel and familiarity with various Microsoft Office programs.
  • GIS or CADD training.
