About The Position

Weyerhaeuser is seeking an Entry Level Forklift Operator & Order Puller (Trainee) for its Easton, PA location. This first shift role involves significant physical activity, including regular movement, standing, sitting, walking, and handling materials up to 100 pounds, as well as operating heavy equipment outdoors in various weather conditions. Reporting to the Site Operations Manager, the primary focus is on safely moving products for customers. The company provides training for individuals with a high school diploma or GED, a strong drive to perform, and a commitment to safety, covering order picking, pulling, and forklift operation. The shift runs from 2:00 PM to approximately 10:30 PM, with opportunities for overtime and increased pay based on skill mastery. Eligible employees receive medical, dental, and gainsharing benefits, with a starting pay of $22.33 per hour. This position is ideal for those who enjoy working safely, learning new skills, working outdoors, collaborating in a team, operating heavy machinery, using basic math for measurements, and processing orders through various systems.

Requirements

Ability to learn and master the operation of a chainsaw and forklift
Strong attention to detail, planning and organizational skills
Ability to work with within a team to solve customer problems and complete general tasks
Willing to work outside, regularly moving, in the elements five days a week and occasional weekends
Ability to continuously work while standing, sitting, and driving equipment throughout the day
Ability to work, while lifting up to 50lbs
Ability to work, while moving and sliding up to 100lbs
Basic computer skills
High school diploma or GED required
A proven track record of successful performance at school and work
