As part of our Resilience Water team, you'll help improve quality of life. With your expertise in environmental science your work could involve Automated Meter Infrastructure (AMI) project support in different areas, and a range of remediation and/or sampling and/or monitoring activities as directed and in accordance with relevant Health and Safety or other operational standards.

Responsibilities

  • Actively assist in data collection, analysis, and related tasks.
  • Support the successful delivery of specific outputs, either individually or as part of a team.
  • Identify information sources and gather relevant data to aid project delivery.
  • Analyze data and perform data modeling to design solutions that meet project objectives.
  • Prepare drawings, specifications, reports, and other project documentation that align with company and client requirements.
  • Compile, manipulate, and evaluate data and documentation control for the AMI project.
  • Provide support for conducting soil, groundwater, and air sampling in compliance with both State and Federal standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's of science degree in environmental science or a related field of study.
  • Ability to manage, reduce, and evaluate field and analytical data.
  • Experience in preparing reports and assisting Project Manager (PM) with AMI tasks.
  • Exhibit ownership of delegated tasks, ensuring coordination and delivery of on-schedule and on-budget work.
  • Logical approach and ability to work on simultaneous tasks.
  • Proficiency in operating software packages like ArcGIS and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong focus on health and safety compliance with Arcadis and client H&S requirements.

Nice-to-haves

  • Masters of science degree in environmental science or a related field of study.
  • 2+ years of experience in the field.
  • Technical expertise in environmental aspects and understanding of local municipalities in PR.
  • Active participation in regional and national professional associations.
