About The Position

AECOM is seeking an Entry-Level Environmental Scientist I to support soil and groundwater investigations and remediation projects. The role involves conducting field tasks, managing project documentation, and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations. The selected candidate will work on various investigation and remediation projects while collaborating with AECOM staff and subcontractors.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Geology or related field.
• Valid U.S Driver's License and ability to pass AECOM's Motor Vehicle Records Review.
• Ability to obtain and maintain medical clearance for driving and wearing a respirator.

Nice To Haves

• 1+ years of experience demonstrating strong technical skills including Database, GIS, CAD, and visualization software.
• OSHA 40-hr Hazardous Waste Operations Training.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, ArcGIS, and EQuIS.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conducting environmental field work, including collecting soil, groundwater, and remediation system data.
• Preparing field documents and collecting field data for processing and interpretation.
• Supporting office tasks, including data analysis and report preparation.
• Interpreting and recording data, conducting analyses, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
