Requirements
- Entry-level knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures in geoenvironmental consulting
- Familiarity with local, state, and federal regulatory processes
- Familiarity with industry-standard software (e.g., EQuIS, GIS Systems and AutoCAD)
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Team oriented with ability to perform multiple tasks independently in a timely manner and collaborate effectively and positively with coworkers
- Recognize and manage business risk
- Self-motivated, highly organized, and detail oriented
- Ability to work in field and office settings
- Recognize and help to identify business risk
- BS in Civil or Environmental Engineering
- 0-1 years of environmental or geoenvironmental consulting experience
- OSHA 40 hr. HAZWOPER certification and annual refresher certifications required after 30 days of employment

- Intern experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on support during field exploration and testing related to site investigation and remediation including the collection of environmental media samples
- Prepare and adhere to site specific health and safety plans
- Prepare clear and accurate documentation of field exploration and testing activities
- Coordinate with laboratory and drilling subcontractors
- Oversee and document the work of subcontractors (e.g., drillers and test pit excavation contractors)
- Review and communicate investigation findings to team members
- Enter and manage environmental data in databases or other environmental data management systems.
- Participate in environmental due diligence activities
- Prepare technical reports, correspondence, notes, and memoranda
