About The Position

The Entry-Level Engineering Technician at Intertek is responsible for performing field inspections and construction materials testing to ensure compliance with construction plans and specifications. Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Valid Driver's License and reliable driving record is required.
• Effective communication skills (written, verbal, and listening) are required.
• Basic math, calculator, and computer skills are required.
• Ability to read and understand work plans is required.

Nice To Haves

• Construction materials testing/inspection experience is preferred.
• Industry certifications such as ACI, ICC, etc. are preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform field inspections and construction materials testing under general supervision.
• Prepare inspection daily reports and testing data sheets.
• Operate testing equipment and conduct tests on materials such as soil and concrete.
• Provide assessment of data through reporting and maintain detailed documentation of test results.
• Communicate effectively with clients and project teams regarding testing and inspection results.
• Adhere to safety practices and policies to ensure personal and team safety.
