About The Position
Produce engineering designs for energy Distribution projects. Project work will include preparing forestry trimming requests, facilitating permit and Right-of-Way acquisition, development of a BOM, estimating costs, etc. Engineers will support major distribution projects for the utility industry and will software CAD for drafting/design work and ArcFM. All projects will be related to electric power distribution and leadership - specifically make-ready and smart antenna. We are in search of new Distribution Engineers to join a diverse and fast-paced organization. As a core team member, you will be interacting with other electric utility disciplines, playing a valuable part in performing field inspections, engineering design work and calculations. As a part of this work, you'll be coordinating with permit agencies, right-of-way specialists, system owners, field leaders, forestry leaders, and 3rd party owners for joint-owned poles.
