Requirements

  • 0-2 Years of experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET-Accredited Program.
  • General knowledge of required design software (MicroStation, AutoCAD, Revit).
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Good communication and technical writing skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Ability to maintain required certifications.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in underwater inspections, commercial dive operations, and marine engineering projects.
  • Structural engineering, design, analysis, and bridge condition inspection.
  • Inspections or design work related to bridges, waterfronts, and dams.
  • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or ability to obtain in 1 year is required.
  • Commercial Diving (ADCI) Certification is required.
  • National Highway Institute (NHI) Bridge Inspection certification (preferred).
  • TWIC card (preferred).
  • Previous internships or work experience in the Engineering field.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in marine engineering and diving projects, including tender and diver duties.
  • Assist with underwater inspections of various structures such as bridges, dams, piers, wharves, marinas, ports, bulkheads, and seawalls.
  • Conduct condition inspections and quality control inspections for construction projects.
  • Support structural design and analysis of marine structures.
  • Prepare technical reports related to inspections and design work.
