About The Position

We are looking for an Entry Level Engineer to join our ICE Team to improve infrastructure in our Taylor office. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and zero to three years of experience. Completion of Part I of the Fundamentals of Engineering Exam and knowledge of GIS and AutoCAD Civil 3D is preferred. Strong written and verbal communication/coordination skills are essential. A flexible hybrid-remote work schedule is available after 30 days of employment. Typical responsibilities include: Prepares scaled work order maps using Computer Aided Design software (CAD), Geographic Information Systems (GIS), and other client design systems. Prepare preliminary project cost estimates and evaluate quantities Assist with/review scope, budget, and schedule of new project tasks Monitor task budget and progress Conduct on-site observations as needed Maintain multiple project assignments Verify field survey notes Prepare project status and other reports Assist Project Managers Attend client, public, project and staff meetings including client progress, plan review, pre-construction, etc. Attend seminars and/or training classes Maintain excellent client relations Maintain a safe working environment

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • 0 to 3 years of related experience required
  • Strong written and verbal communication/coordination skills are essential

Nice To Haves

  • Completion of Part I of the Fundamentals of Engineering Exam preferred
  • Knowledge of GIS and AutoCAD Civil 3D is preferred
