About The Position

Dewberry is seeking an Entry-Level Civil Engineer with a focus on drainage engineering to join our Orlando, FL office. This position is part of the Transportation Design Group, where the individual will engage in various stormwater management engineering tasks related to roadway projects. The role is designed for recent graduates or those with minimal experience who are eager to develop their skills in a collaborative environment. The successful candidate will be involved in the design and implementation of stormwater management facilities and systems, contributing to the production of construction plans that meet project specifications and regulatory requirements. As an Entry-Level Drainage Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work closely with experienced engineers and gain hands-on experience in the field of civil engineering. You will be responsible for designing stormwater management facilities, which includes understanding the principles of hydrology and hydraulics as they apply to drainage systems. Additionally, you will be tasked with the design of stormwater conveyance systems, ensuring that they are efficient and effective in managing water flow.
