About The Position

POWER Engineers, Member of WSP is currently initiating a search for a Full-Time Early Career Engineer for our Columbus office. Be involved in projects with our Power Delivery Distribution Svc XVI Team and be a part of a growing organization that meets our clients' objectives and solves their challenges.

Requirements

• Engineering degree from an ABET accredited university, preferably with a power option.
• Strong command of the English language with good written and oral communication skills.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of electrical engineering.
• Must be able to successfully pass client's background screening process.
• Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

Nice To Haves

• Civil or Electrical Engineering degree from an ABET accredited university, preferably with a power option.
• Internship or co-op experience with utility or industrial facility.
• Engineer in Training certificate (EIT) or passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam.

Responsibilities

• Perform distribution design and provide transmission project support.
• Manage multiple tasks and work effectively with different personalities.
• Complete a variety of other tasks as assigned by utility clients.
• Engage in physical design, electrical design, and materials for distribution design.
