About our property: Skamania Lodge is a Pacific Northwest resort set on 175 acres, featuring treehouses, glamping, golf, ziplining, a spa, and multiple restaurants. With over 22,000 sq. ft. of event space, it’s a premier destination for retreats, conferences, and celebrations. What you will have an opportunity to do: Prepare food following recipes and portion guidelines. Follow food safety and sanitation standards. Check food quality and report any issues. Store, label, and rotate food properly. Help reduce waste and follow food cost guidelines. Keep work areas clean, organized, and sanitary.

Requirements

  • Food Handler’s Certification (or ability to obtain).
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous kitchen or cooking experience preferred but not required.
  • Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation.
  • Ability to follow recipes and instructions in English.
  • Basic knife and kitchen safety skills (training provided).
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and work in hot or cold environments.
  • Willingness to work as part of a team in a fast-paced kitchen.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous kitchen or cooking experience preferred but not required.
