About The Position

Carson Helicopters is seeking a motivated, hands-on individual to join our team as an Entry-Level Component Overhaul Mechanic. The selected candidate will receive paid, on-the-job training while assisting with the disassembly, inspection, cleaning, repair, and reassembly of aircraft dynamic components in accordance with FAA regulations, OEM maintenance manuals, and Carson Helicopters–approved processes.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a hands-on, fast-paced environment
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods

Nice To Haves

• Previous mechanical experience is a plus
• Enrollment in or completion of an A&P program preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Disassembly and reassembly of aircraft dynamic components including rotor systems, gearboxes, transmissions, actuators, dampers, and other load-bearing assemblies
• Cleaning, preparation, and preservation of parts for inspection and overhaul
• Identification of serviceable and non-serviceable conditions per FAA, OEM, and company criteria
• Documentation of work using shop travelers, work orders, and digital systems
• Operation of hand tools, measuring equipment, and basic shop machinery
• Adherence to standard operating procedures and safety requirements
