About the position

We are a leading event marketing firm dedicated to creating impactful and memorable experiences for our clients. We specialize in event promotion, brand engagement, and strategic communications to ensure our clients' events achieve maximum visibility and success. We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Entry Level Communications Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will support various event marketing projects and contribute to the success of our clients' events. You’ll work closely with our communications team to help develop and execute effective promotional strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and implementation of communication plans to promote clients' events and initiatives.
  • Work with internal teams and clients to gather necessary information and insights for communication projects.
  • Track media coverage and social media mentions related to clients' events, analyzing key metrics to assess communication effectiveness.
  • Help plan and execute promotional campaigns, ensuring alignment with clients' goals and brand messaging.
  • Respond to media inquiries and provide timely and professional information about clients' events.
  • Maintain and update media lists, contact databases, and other communication resources.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and best practices in event marketing and communications.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, public relations, marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in multitasking and prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Prior experience in communications, public relations, marketing, or event planning is a plus but not required.
  • A genuine interest in event marketing and creating engaging experiences for diverse audiences.
