About The Position

Colony Tire is currently seeking a full-time Entry-Level Commercial Mechanic to join our team in Raleigh, NC! The ideal candidate is eager to learn, mechanically inclined, and ready to develop skills in diagnosing and repairing vehicles. Summary: Employee will be required to perform tire and auto-related services, as well as other duties assigned by the manager.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Interest in the automotive industry and willingness to learn.
Basic knowledge of tools and mechanical systems.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow instructions.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Valid drivers license.

Nice To Haves

Preference will be given to those with some experience or trade school/technical degree, particularly with commercial vehicles.

Responsibilities

Assist experienced mechanics with vehicle inspections, diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance.
Learn how to use automotive tools and equipment properly and safely.
Perform basic services such as oil changes, suspension repairs, brake repairs, battery replacements, and tire replacement/rotations.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Follow safety guidelines and shop procedures.
Attend training sessions and stay up to date on automotive technology.
Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients.
