About The Position

This role will assist in operating Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) to ensure products meet engineering specifications and quality standards. Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; technical or trade school training preferred.
• Basic understanding of blueprints, GD&T, or precision measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges) is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing or machine shop environment.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and inspection reporting.

Responsibilities

• Operate CMM equipment to measure and inspect parts and assemblies.
• Review engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to verify product requirements.
• Record and document inspection results accurately.
• Assist with first article inspections and in-process quality checks.
• Identify and report non-conforming parts to quality or production teams.
• Maintain calibration and cleanliness of measurement equipment.
• Work with quality engineers and inspectors to support continuous improvement efforts.
