About The Position

POWER Engineers is currently seeking an Entry-Level Civil/Structural Engineer to work in its Power Delivery Transmission Line Department in Mount Laurel, New Jersey. The successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of transmission line design for new lines, relocations, upgrades, and fiber optic additions.

Requirements

• BSCE (Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering) degree from an accredited university.
• Strong command of the English language with good written and oral communication skills.
• Experience using the Microsoft Office software suite.

Nice To Haves

• Minimum 3.0 Grade Point Average (GPA).
• Ideal coursework includes structural analysis, concrete design, steel design, soil mechanics, foundation design, and surveying.
• Previous engineering design or drafting work experience, especially if related to civil and/or structural engineering.
• Engineer In Training (EIT) registration is desired.
• Familiarity with design, drafting or engineering software such as MATHCAD, SOLIDWORKS, AUTOCAD, etc. as well as Microsoft Excel.
