About The Position

Job Summary Bohannan Huston is currently seeking a full-time Entry Level Civil Engineer to join our Water and Wastewater Systems Engineering Group in our Albuquerque, NM office. Our Water & Wastewater Systems Engineering Group provides the structure, support, and hands-on experience you need to become a strong, well-rounded engineer. As an Engineer-in-Training (EI), you'll collaborate with experienced professionals, use critical thinking to solve real client needs, and contribute to design and construction documents that shape essential infrastructure. Your Role & Responsibilities In this role, you will: Work as part of a collaborative team on water and wastewater projects in New Mexico, Arizona, and Colorado. Analyze data, evaluate design options, and develop solutions that directly support our clients' goals. Prepare design plans, reports, and construction documents for a wide range of projects. Manage multiple assignments with accuracy, efficiency, and professionalism. When you succeed here, you'll grow quickly, earn trust, and become a key contributor in delivering high-quality engineering solutions. What We Are Looking For A bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering (completed or within one semester); GPA 3.0+ preferred. You hold an EI certification or can earn it within 12 months of hire. You bring 0-4 years of experience in water/wastewater planning, design, or construction. You are familiar with tools like AutoCAD Civil 3D, ESRI ArcGIS, InfoWater, or InfoSWMM/InfoWorks (highly preferred). You communicate clearly, listen well, and deliver polished, timely responses. You are organized, detail-oriented, and driven to produce excellent work. You put customers first and seek feedback as an opportunity to get better. You have an entrepreneurial mindset and a desire to develop your technical skills. You enjoy solving problems and making processes more efficient.
