We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented early career professional to join our Community Development team in our Hartford, CT office. Work as a member of a team on projects including land development; urban infill and redevelopment, municipal projects, mixed-use commercial/residential, educational facilities, permitting, and more.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
• Strong written & verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Experience with construction oversight is a plus!
• EIT registration preferred
• Experience using AutoCAD and Civil 3D is a plus!

Responsibilities

• Design site layout, grading, utilities, and erosion & sediment controls
• Design stormwater management systems
• Assist in preparing design drawings and reports
• Conduct fieldwork for site assessments and data collection
• Oversee construction activities and ensure project compliance
• Assist in the preparation and writing of permits
