Dewberry's Parsippany, NJ office is currently seeking an Entry Level Civil Engineer - Electric Vehicle (EV) & Telecommunications, who is interested in starting their career in a fast paced and growing industry. Requirements
- BS in Civil Engineering is required
- 0-2 years of experience in Civil or Structural Engineering
- F.E. preferred with P.E. track expected.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office are required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Communicate effectively with clients, team members & sub consultants
- Develop technical design documents for leasing, zoning and permitting.
- Composes technical reports, memorandums and other written communication.
- Ability to multi-task and handle multiple concurrent projects with varying teams.
- Interest in adding skill sets outside of civil engineering including project management, geotechnical, electrical, and mechanical.
Responsibilities
- Job entails field data collection, preparation of civil site plans, and coordination of design and schedule with clients and team members.
- Site designs often include grading, erosion control, stormwater management design, conducting field data collection, preparing Electric Vehicle (EV) & wireless facility designs and coordinating all design aspects with a team, tracking the progress of projects, and construction control and inspection.
