Dewberry's Richmond, VA office is currently seeking an Entry Level Civil Engineer - Electric Vehicle (EV) & Telecommunications, who is interested in starting their career in a fast paced and growing industry. Requirements

• BS in Civil Engineering is required
• 0-2 years of experience in Civil Engineering
• F.E. preferred with P.E. track expected
• Proficiency in AutoCAD with Civil3D experience preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
• Communicate effectively with clients, team members & sub consultants
• Develop technical design documents for leasing, zoning and permitting
• Ability to compose technical reports, memorandums and other written communication
• Ability to multi-task and handle multiple concurrent projects with varying teams

Responsibilities

• Field data collection
• Preparation of civil site plans
• Coordination of design and schedule with clients and team members
• Site designs including grading, erosion control, and stormwater management design
• Conducting field data collection
• Preparing Electric Vehicle (EV) & wireless facility designs
• Coordinating all design aspects with a team
• Tracking the progress of projects
• Construction control and inspection
