About The Position
This is a contract role lasting through the end of 2025. The position is responsible for testing and analyzing incoming materials, intermediates, finished products, swab samples, and other samples of a moderate scope and complexity of activity. The chemist will prepare, maintain, and review thorough records and documentation on solutions, sample preparation, and investigational/experimental samples. They will support laboratory investigations into Out of Specification/Out of Trend results or other laboratory events, perform revisions to documentation such as Standard Operating Procedures, Test Methods, and Specifications, and coordinate and send materials for contract laboratory testing. Additionally, the chemist will assist with verification of compendial methods, provide training to other analysts, assist with activities associated with the stability program, execute projects of limited to moderate scope, and assist with activities related to the sampling of incoming materials as needed.
