About The Position

Air Charter Service (ACS) is seeking an individual for their Cargo Charter services, which include humanitarian relief, dangerous goods, animal transportation, and pharmaceutical transport. The Cargo team manages the full sales cycle, ensuring high-quality customer service and quick handling of chartering requests. The role involves building a list of potential customers, targeting them through outbound sales efforts, and maintaining relationships with both customers and Cargo Operators. The position requires managing charter bookings and providing bespoke quotes while demonstrating a strong understanding of the aircraft and chartering process.

Responsibilities

  • Building a list of potential customers by researching databases, websites, LinkedIn, and trade press.
  • Pro-actively targeting potential customers through outbound sales calls, emails, and visits.
  • Building relationships with Cargo Operators to ensure access to a wide range of aircraft.
  • Maintaining relationships with customers to ensure repeat business.
  • Working to sales targets and meeting financial objectives.
  • Demonstrating expert understanding of the aircraft and chartering process.
  • Managing charter bookings from enquiry to completion.
  • Receiving inbound requests for urgent charters virtually 24/7.
  • Presenting bespoke quotes to customers and demonstrating good commercial acumen.
  • Flight watching and overseeing flight departures, which may involve unsociable hours.
